I Had Such a Lovely Time
with talktooloose today, who should come to NYC more often. How many people can I discuss writing, X-Men, coming out, family history, literature and architecture with? How many people would I have such a good time roaming about with for hours?

And thank you for taking me to such interesting and delicious places. Times spent with you are, indeed, good times.

The two books I mentioned are Blue Heaven by Joe Keenan, and China Mountain Zhang by Maureen F. McHugh.

And, btw, I bought the ticket. God help this Broadway queen.

No, I'm seeing the show Friday matinee (a holiday weekend thing). I went to the Brooklyn Museum today. Wow, it was fabulous. I was the only one who showed up for the tour of the Dinner Party, so I had a docent to myself. The Rock and Roll photos exhibit also, uh, rocked.

Oh right you told me there was a Friday matinee. I hope it's great.

I'm glad you enjoyed BMA. It's truly an overlooked treasure in NYC. And, as I mentioned, a great place to go with kids, too.

Yay! I actually met my first LJ-person (aside from my girlfriend st_aurafina) a week ago and it was terrific! She was totally like and yet unlike who I thought she'd be.

Cool! My f-list is a mix of people I know originally from RL, people I know originally from other on line venues, and those I actually met through lj.
