It's so beautiful. I adore the last lines...
We have lingered in the chambers of the sea
By sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown
Till human voices wake us, and we drown.
It's been years since I read your X-Men stories (back when I still lived with my parents and had to devour the slash secretly at night) but I can vaguely remember that the poetry you used moved me deeply. There was one about World War I, I think, and one about Chicago and they were reflecting Logan's memories and they were awesome. As I said, just vague memories of the actual poems, but I can still remember that I loved your stories so much.
So, thank you for introducing me to The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock and thank you for your X-Men stories.

Thanks so much for commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed the stories (even if surreptitiously) and I love it when people read the poetry because of them.
