Great Support Logan, Poor Jean-Paul

(Link)
Okay so I am loving this side of Logan more and more he know exactly the right thing to say to help Scott. They have come a long way and it definately paying off.

I am in a love-hate relationship with Adam. I honestly think he should give an answer to Jean-Paul to try and mend their relationship or give up on it, the faster the better it will be for both of them. Yeah I know it may be hard to forgive Jean-Paul for what he did, but he should still remember that he stopped himself before it went any further. Plus, yes Jean-Paul was a bit distant when he (Adam) told him about his infidelity, but he loved him enough to forgive him. In Jean-Paul's defense he felt slightly threatened by Jake and he had reason exhibit A, Adam is now fucking him, during their separation or whatever the fuck they have right now.

Reading this chapter made me go back to reading some of the earlier fic in this ARC involving the whole Jake incedent and trust me I usually don't back read, but I just had to read how they dealt with JAke previously.

Great chapter and yeah Rogue is back and I am making assumption why Bobby was all cheering. I like Bobby & Rogue in the movie they are cute together.

Yeah, Jean-Paul's getting the worst of it, I'd say. They've both made mistakes, of course, but at this point Adam's basically got two guys in love with him and it's only fair that he make some kind of decision. Adam's showing some consideration for Jean-Paul's feelings and some appreciation of how hard this is for him, but I agree that he should decide already. OTOH, maybe it's because J-P is being so good to him that he can't, yk? Hard to give up on that relationship completely, with all it's meant to both of them.

Anyway, tomorrow's chapter is more on Adam and Jean-Paul, and it's first person, from Adam's POV. So we see more of his take on all this.

Yeah yeah can't wait for tomorrow. Hopefully it will steer me towards liking Adam's character again although I highly doubt it. He was one of the more reasonable characters except when he had that little spasm when Jean-Paul wouldn't go to the stupid conference with him. Okay so maybe he has issues also but still Adam is going to have to really pull through to gain me on his side.

I'm sure he's quaking in his boots :-). I tend to like them all, at least a litte, because they're mine. Readers are under no such obligation.

I was just saying to someone elsewhere that - until this recent stuff - one of the things I really liked about Adam and Jean-Paul as a couple is how well they handle conflict. In general, I think they fight really well - clear on what they're each angry about, but respectful of the other and strongly motivated to come up with a way to make things work for the two of them. This situation seems to be beyond their capabilities to resolve conflict well, though.

By contrast, Scott and Logan fight terribly, I think. They're so different in personality that they don't know how to effectively deal with conflict with each other. But they both find the relationship really compelling, so they kind of muddle through eventually even though they really don't know how to handle the conflict. And eventually - because they stick with it - most stuff between them does get resolved. And what doesn't they kind of live with.
