The Guilt Meme

I got tagged by barenakedrachel. I think I took a somewhat iconoclastic approach to this. Those I tagged should feel free to answer more traditionally if they so choose.

What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: Sausages I totally agree that people who like sausages and laws shouldn't think about how they're made.
Literary: Women's Magazines This was hard, since I have eclectic literary interests and don't generally feel guilty about them - from Shakespeare to comic books. But then I remembered how I tend to hide Women's Day and Ladies' Home Journal.
Audiovisual: TV I don't watch it and I feel like it leaves me out of so much of popular culture, but I just can't find the time.
Musical: Repetition I can listen to the same CD about 50 times in a row and not get sick of it, but I feel guilty when I think of how crazy it makes my friends and family.
Celebrity: Name Dropping I *love* to list the celebrities I've met and I think that's pretty pathetic and I really should get over it. But hey, do you want to hear about when I met Walt Disney in the second grade or Dan Savage a couple of years ago?

Alternative to fannish5: Five Locations in Fanfic

There's a community called fannish5 that has a five things question each week. This week's question is to list five songs that belong in a musical version of one's fandom. That question didn't move me (I hate songfic and this seemed too close) so since I'm in a kind of iconoclastic mood, I'll answer a fannish five question of my own devising:

Name five locations you write about in fanfic and tell us something about them.

1. Xavier's Academy in Salem Center, NY.Collapse )
2 . The Bronx Zoo. Collapse )
3. Cote St. Luc.Collapse )
4. Rural Saskatchewan. Collapse )
5. Peru, Vermont.Collapse )
