Heh. "Turkeys" is putting it very nicely. I don't think he's done a single good American movie outside the X-Men umbrella, so I'm really thrilled about his next few projects. First, there's The Fountain, with Rachel Weisz, directed by Darren Aronofsky. Second, there's The Prestige, with Christian Bale, Michael Caine, and David Bowie(!), directed by Christopher Nolan. Third, there's Scoop, with Scarlett Johansson, directed by Woody Allen. Which may or may not come out well, but it's nice to see the man moving up to the big leagues regardless. :)

Oh, and his voice is in a couple of animated movies. Just in case that wasn't enough.

P.S. Thank you re: my ramblings. It was an excercise in getting things out of my system without swearing too much. :P

Thanks for the info. Certainly sounds like an interesting bunch of movies.

What does your icon mean? I don't recognize the woman in the picture and don't know why she has a Mars sign there. Or is it not a woman? I'm confused.

Oh, that's Veronica Mars, star of an eponymous television show that I adore. It also has truly abysmal ratings, so if you like gender-reversed California noir and mysteries that actually get solved, tune in. :)

Oops, and the actress is Kristen Bell. Who's fantastic. And I'll stop pimping now.

Oh! A Mars sign as in Mars, rather than a Mars sign as in meaning male. Too bad I don't have an icon of scales falling from my eyes.
