On the twelfth day of Christmas,
mofic sent to me...

Twelve
candrawests drumming

Eleven
tartanshells piping

Ten
manticorans a-leaping

Nine
kathbs dancing

Eight
hockeyiris a-breastfeeding

Seven
ewa_lottas a-writing

Six cyclops a-beading
Five le-e-e-esbians
Four star wars
Three palm pilots
Two scott summers
...and a x-men in a queer theory.
I particularly liked the Five Lesbians part. But I don't want to send five lesbians to someone else, I want someone to send five lesbians to me!
This is reminding me of when Kendra was 9 or 10 and we were traveling to school and she had just heard The Twelve Days of Christmas somewhere. She asked, "How many birds are there altogether in the song?"
So we figured it out - "Well, there are 12 partridges in pair trees and 11 times 2 equals 22 turtledoves, remember 34, okay Kendra? and..."
No, I don't remember what it came to. Yes, it probably would have been easier if I'd taken out my Palm and figured it out using the calculator but math in your head on public transit is fun, dammit!
