Wow! Living History|
A 2000-year-old seed for an extinct plant - the Judean Date Palm - was found at Masada and is growing into a living tree. How cool is that? http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/science/AP-SCI-Ancient-Tree.html?scp=1&sq=judean+date&st=nyt

Hey I made stir fry last night and thought of you when I got out the soy sauce!

Yeah, I figured you did. It's just that now soy sauce reminds me of you :-).
It's been soooo hot that it's a struggle to come up with meals that don't heat up the house. Stir-fry is good because it's stove top and quick (and I cook the rice in my rice cooker). Unfortunately, though, I had agreed to make a Lime Pie in the Style of Key Lime Pie (I don't actually use key limes) for the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon at Zara's school, so I ended up having to use the oven on Wednesday night anyway.
Okay, I'll stop rambling now.

The world never ceases to be fascinating.
Did you see where they think they found the basis for the unicorn
legends? Hehe. He's so adorable. :D
